This week, the only thing that did well was cash and Ihave plenty - 95%.

Gotta love living here despite what the market does....

as far as the dog food comment there are a couple of varieties of Merrick that heated up and served on a plate that would fool most people.
Loved the video, but I must tell you that the people who were loaded with gold sold all of it and even went short just before the big fall.
They will also be long whatever thing goes up next, but will only reveal it after the fact :-)
The next time stocks go down 10% in a week I'll be looking for your post about why you should only have 5% in stocks. Same logic right?

Maybe the logic is the same to you but not in the context I have addressed this point many times before in the last seven years that this site has existed.
Thanks for bringing back the video...but almost had a heart attack with the opening joke.
