I also enjoyed the presentation although it was quite sobering to hear once more about the difficult financial times we are living through.

Thanks for doing this, Roger. Selfishly, I'd enjoy more posts on retirement investing.
I have to say that I'd hardly have any income at all if I avoided all the stuff that you guys think is high risk.
All things in moderation, though, except diversification.
