Roger,
Question before you get snowed under:
What's the story with the foreign markets?? I own some well rated international funds and all have been whacked in the last week. Julius Baer, 3rd Millennium, all top rated funds are down big. Most down 10% in last week. WHY???
The dollar is up since the start of the year. I think that's part of the decline in international and some part of the great commodity dump of '07.
I own a couple international stocks that have been acting funky on no news at all. I think it's forex stuff.
Emerging markets get the double whammy of international and commodity. (Of couse, when those two are working that's why people like EM).
I agree, it looks like the best em funds are down 10% in the week, which for a fun is a BIG hit. What next few months look like?? I have to say it was a shock as all was rolling smoothly. in fact my international's were up a average 35% in 2006. russia was in fire and now sinking daily.More thoughts??
