Romania
In the spirit of my post last night about Pakistan, here is a PDF about Romania which is trying to get into the EU and then the EMU further down the road. The report notes some genuine obstacles to overcome with various imbalances and inflation but what it interesting is that the currency, the Leu (which is difficult to chart), is up 23% against the US dollar in the last two and half years. Oops.

I was looking for ways to partecipate EU entrance for Romania and Bulgaria, but I could not find any pure plays beside open end funds dealing with East Europe in general. Real Estate is booming in these regions. Maybe you can help.
Thx
In terms of a product, I am not aware of any.
I looked at ADR.com and ADRBNY.com and neither one had much to choose from.
While I do not know, I would suggest seeing if there are any funds traded in London that capture the effect and can be owned here.
