In their October issue, the folks at Kiplinger's have an article about blogs. The box to the left is what they say about me, thanks guys.Other blogs mentioned include Seeking Alpha and The Kirk Report. Kudos and snaps to everyone on the list but a lot of the names listed are ones that come up elsewhere as well.
While it is flattering to be included I think there is plenty of room for other blogs to join the fray. Again, readers will vote with their clicks.
I'll try to post a more thorough state of the blogosphere post next week.

Well done - and well earned. I really enjoy the variety, content and feedback presented on a daily basis. There is a fertile mind running this blog, for sure.

I'm fairly new to the world of blogs. It's a wonder of another's effort, time, and tour de force of intelligence. While it's certainly up to the reader to take or leave another's musings, I do wonder about the motivation for some blogs, just as I wonder if companies pay others to post at yahoo to manipulate stock price. As for blogging, is there a business model that profits from advertisement with volume? It's a mixed bag out there, and a positive payoff, whatever it is exclusive of malicious manipulation, is merited. Just curious. Our freedom and access to communication is a continuing marvel, and hopefully not the waste of time my wife contends.
Congrats! You definitely have earned the kudos. I see blogging as a way of talking to one's self without being called crazy.
great job
your blog is insightful , helpful and interesting ..... a breath of fresh air and so much different from those who infuse worthless chatter or politics into their "investment " blogs and do it just for their ego
