Currency ETF's.

Currency ETF's. (Dismally, as it relates to the economy.)

David Taylor weighs in on the currency ETFs. This is a good read to get the other side of my opinion.

I kind of came down hard on the currency ETVs. It just seemed like yet another avenue to do something that we already have a lot of avenues to do. I read one of your write-ups on the ETVs and we seemed to be hitting the same chords. But, I may have been a little harsher.

I'm glad I did the write-up. I tremendous amount about that avenue of investment vehicle. I see fundamental flaws in the ETVs, and now if I decide I will do an ETV, I can think of different solutions. Perhaps I can invent a better paperclip.

I still think currency ETF's are far less useful than many people suspect.

It's mostly for the crowd that thinks they are running a Global Macro hedge fund in their etrade account.
