A Basic Macro Trend Question about roi in a foreign ETF- Is there a relationship between Moody's credit ratings on the currency and the countries overall market performance and return on equity? Does a AAA rating imply that the currency driving that economy will produce better returns than a lesser rated currency over time? Or just less volatility? Please share the Big Picture. It appears that Geoff is using some common statistical methods to bolster his opinions about constuction of a portfolio. You rightly point out the insufficient data spread (3 years)to draw any conclusions. Statistics can be made to say anything you want for them to say. Tom in Indy
