Economic Uh-Oh

Important article that is not getting enough discussion relative to its potential economic impact. Two discussion around it are offshoring and thoughtful immigration. We need to figure out workable solutions to these rapidly changing and politically hot issues.

That's just GREAT.

They print money like it going out of style. Of course things are going to "go up" or cost more.
Of course people are going to demand higher wages if things costs more. DUH!

So, they will print money AND raise rates. Sort of like stepping on the gas and brake pedals at the same time.

Sometimes I wonder if these people might need a dose of living in the real world for a few days.

Wage pressure is strongly offset by globalization and the increase in higher education in places like India. I can't see how US wages will face a lot of upward pressure over the next 30 years. As wages are pressured higher here, I think the government will step in and facilitate continued outsourcing to maintain profit margins.
