We're Not Saving Enough
Bob Pisani was down in Florida reporting from the Securities Industry Association shindig. Turns out Americans aren't saving enough. Forgetting that some portion of their conclusion would be selfserving, it should not be a shock that we need to save more.
Over the next few days I hope to put a couple of posts about retirement planning and executing strategy. This is important stuff.

You mean I'm not saving enough of what's left after taxes?
You mean There isn't enough savings left after the Wall Street professionals have taken their expenses, fees, etc?
i wasn't being that cynical but fair enough
Yes many Americans are not saving enough. I still think that there is a good percentage that is.
I always assumed that by the time I have enough to retire, that SS will be means tested or be so low for me that it might as well be zero.
In the end I could have had a nice retirement on that 14% confiscated from my paychecks.
