TEMIX

Barron's has an interview with the manager of the Franklin Mutual European Funds (TEMIX). A couple of the picks are stocks I own personally and for clients. The names aren't important but the process is.

Europe is a mess right now, mostly the EMU countries. My EMU exposure is limited to one name but I would not want zero exposure despite the mess.

The interview is not that deep but there is some good info about Anglo American.

On a personal note my neighbor's dog died last night and I am taking the dog to the vet for her so I'll be away for a couple of hours.

Ireland? Spain? Finland? Even the Netherlands are doing pretty well. Name names and shame the devil; France, Germany and Italy are in the sink. They are the rust-belt of Europe which allows the ECB to maintain the low rates which keep the Irish boom going.

dd,

That was my implication but I should have been specific. As a long time reader you know I have a lot of European exposure but not so much in the EMU. One Irish stock is my only EMU exposure in fact.
